The service

Alaska Accounting (the “Service”) is a web application made by Verbose Tech. It helps you record daily accounts — opening balances, sales, cash inflows and outflows — count physical cash, review your history, and generate PDF reports.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally able to enter into these terms. The Service is built for Indian businesses and handles Indian rupees (₹) only.

Our content and your license

The Service — its design, text, graphics, and software — belongs to Verbose Tech and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own bookkeeping. You may not copy, resell, or present the Service as your own, or extract its software except where the law gives you that right.

Your responsibilities

The numbers in your account are yours. You are responsible for:

• Recording your accounts accurately and keeping your records up to date.
• Keeping your login credentials private. You are responsible for anything done through your account, so do not share your password.
• Making sure you are legally allowed to use the Service where you are.

Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and fairly. You must not:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store records you have no right to keep.
• Try to access other users' data, or interfere with the Service's security or availability.
• Abuse, resell, or misrepresent the Service — for example, presenting it as your own product.

Data and deletion

Your accounting records belong to you. You can edit them in the app, and you can delete your account — along with all of its data — from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and every accounting record attached to it, and cannot be undone.

No financial advice

Alaska Accounting is a record-keeping tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing in the Service is tax, accounting, or investment advice. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional.

Liability, in plain language

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we cannot promise it will be available at all times or completely free of errors. The Service is provided “as is”.

To the extent the law allows, Verbose Tech is not liable for losses that come from: records you entered incorrectly, decisions you made based on your records, or interruptions to the Service. In any case, our total liability is limited to what you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the issue arose — or nothing, if you use a free plan.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the Service, or use it unlawfully — we will tell you why where the law requires it. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account and its data from Settings. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction over Verbose Tech's place of business in India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date below, and for material changes we will notify you inside the app. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
